Dear Church Family,

Let the magnitude of the following words sink in.

Little do we comprehend the power of the mind. Modern research is demonstrating the truth of these words she wrote long ago! Let us guard the mind and follow God’s direction for our lives.

In the news:

1.This Sabbath we will be meeting in person at the church for Sabbath School & Church.

2. We will resume our Genesis series this Sabbath with a look at chapter two. The message is entitled: “Image Is Everything.”

3. There will be no AYA this Sabbath. Note that we will have AYA next Sabbath, February 12 with Dan Sanford and friends sharing some ole timey music.

4. GAA’s Winterfest which was scheduled for this Sunday has been postponed.

5. Last Sabbath, I referenced an appeal made by our church leaders that was released on January 26. If you haven’t read it, it’s worth your time. The article is entitled: Concerns Regarding COVID-19, Church Governance, and Liberty of Conscience

6. This Wednesday at 7 P.M. we will continue our study in James with a look at James 3:13-18.

7.. Remember that this Thursday is the deadline for signing up for the drive-through dinner fundraiser that the Pathfinders are offering on Sunday, February 13. Please pick up order blanks in the foyer for each order and deliver them to the school or church office by Thursday.

8. All men are invited to mark their calendars for Sunday, March 6 for breakfast and Bible study at 8:30 A.M. More details to come.
