In the news:
- This Sabbath, Galena and her students & friends will be leading out in the music for Sabbath school and church. So please know that music & singing will begin this week at Sabbath school at 9:15 a.m.
- This Sabbath we will continue in our “The Mystery Revealed” series on John with a another look at chapter 7. The message this week is entitled, “No Middle Ground.”
- This Sabbath, the Milton & Fred’s Sabbath School class will resume.
- This Sabbath afternoon at 4 p.m., there will be a memorial service for Susie Scott at the church. All are invited to attend as we celebrate her life.
- Given that this weekend is Easter, I thought you might appreciates this article from the Adventist Review back in 2010 entitled, “Adventists & Easter”.
- It is interesting to see the various directions our discussion can go each week at our mid-week study on Hebrews. Join us this week as we continue in prayer and Bible study at 7 p.m.
- The CSC is in need of household items for the thrift store. They are also in need of small plastic grocery bags from Wal-Mart as well. See the church bulletin for more information.
- Kindergarten Round Up is this coming Thursday from 4-5:30 p.m. at GAA. Please help get the word out.
- Next Sabbath, April 10, AYA will resume with Dan Sanford leading out in his Ole Timey Musical group. AYA will begin at 6 p.m.
- GAA’s 2nd annual yard sale will be June 27 from 7-3p.m. at the school gym. This was very successful last year and they are hopeful that they can generate even more profit this year. Please start setting aside your stuff now. Donations can be made beginning the first week of June.
- Next Sunday, April 11, the book mobilbe will be in our parking lot from 10-11 a.m.
- A volleyball social has been planned for Sunday, April 11 from 3-5 p.m. at the church.
- An elder’s meeting is planned for Sunday at 7 p.m. via ZOOM.
- This past Tuesday afternoon, we filmed a couple more segments for our Gardening with Carl series. While this is the current series we are posting on our church Facebook page, we plan to include other how to videos as well as Bible lessons as we seek to build our onlin presense. The best way to grow our online presence is organicly by our own church family sharing and reposting.
