Dear Church Family,
This was shared with me this week and I thought I would pass it on to you:
“The faith of Jesus.” It is talked of, but not understood. What constitutes the faith of Jesus, that belongs to the third angel’s message? Jesus becoming our sin-bearer that He might become our sin-pardoning Saviour. He was treated as we deserve to be treated. He came to our world and took our sins that we might take His righteousness. And faith in the ability of Christ to save us amply and fully and entirely is the faith of Jesus. {3SM 172.3}

- There’s a special Tea Party this Sunday for girls ONLY. Girls, ages pre-k to 6th grade are invited to the Millers house this Sunday, September the 30th from 1:00-3:30 pm. Girls should wear a simple summer dress. For questions, please contact Nuryhan Miller or Suranny Sarria
- I forgot to share the following report from the Sarria’s children’s potluck from a couple of weeks ago. Here’s a report from Suranny: We had approximately 50 people over at our house for the kids potluck, lots of kids and their parents. We had gifts for different categories
-We had a gift for one of the kids who had devotionals every day of the week.
-We had another gift for the kid who made their bed every day this week
-A gift for a kid who recited a whole chapter of the Bible
-A gift for one who had helped at home without being asked by mom
-And a gift for a kid who had prayed for someone this week.
They didn’t know that they would receive these gifts so hopefully this is an encouragement for them to be ready at all times to be close to God and be a friend to humanity. - Just a reminder that the SS classrooms need to be left alone during the week please. The Earliteen room was left in disarray after evidently someone took a table and left things unkept. Thanks for your help with this matter.
- There will be a baby shower for Carson & Taylor Cross on Sunday, October 7 at the Robinson home from 10am to 12pm.
- We will begin taking pictures this coming Tuesday for the church directory. PLEASE help us by signing up this Sabbath so that we can get everyone’s pictures made during this two week period. Your help is greatly appreciated and remember we will provide you with free photos of your time in the studio.
- Norman McNulty will be sharing with us next Sabbath beginning with a presentation on Friday night at 7pm and again on Sabbath afternoon from 2-4pm. He will be speaking on the theme of Last Generation Theology. He will address the history and developments surrounding this important teaching.
- The Appearing with Shawn Boonstra is set to begin Friday, October 12 and will conclude on Monday night, October 15. There will be invitations in the bulletin this Sabbath and in the foyer. Please help us get the word out about this exciting mini series on prophecy.
- Please remember Norma Wannamaker as she is in the hospital at Franklin Woods with a kidney stone. She very much covets your prayers.
- Come and meet some notable characters in history such as Benjamin Franklin, Henry Ford, Orville Wright, and many more! Join us at the GAA gymnasium on Thursday, October 11, 5:30-7:00 P.M. In this living museum, Kindergarten through high school students will be dressed in costume, equipped with knowledge and a presentation board of their character. Admission is free, but a veggie-hot dog supper may be purchased.
- Have you seen these new posters hanging in the hall at the school? Impressive to see the heart of our message hanging in the hallway at GAA! This represents the distinctive mission and message of the Adventist church. May it take root in the hearts of our young people as they walk the halls of GAA.
In His Service,
Pastor Jeremy
